Punk and Triple H both could barely move after the war theyhad and Punk blames John Laurinaitis about the interference of miz and truth in their match and also says that he wanted to be the next COO after TRIPLE H. After John  Laurinaitis had enough he fired Punk but the game came in betwwen and stoped it and even delayed his decision of having the triple threat match for WWE championship  (in which punk was participating) at HELL IN A CELL.

The Miz and R-Truth apologized TRIPLE H for their actions at the night of champions. the game told them to go against Punk and Cena where they lost. Punk and Cena were celebrating their match when Triple H interrupted and fired The Miz and R-Truth and when they people were asking the reason behind their firing before the COO could answer Truth and Miz ambushed him and in the result they were thrown out of the building.
