Before this he faced Mark Henry twice but lost, tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract twice and once got brutal assaults by Mark Henry and then Teddy Long announced a no. #1 contender ship match for the World Heavy Weight championship, a fatal Four way match, Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett vs Cody Rhodes vs Daniel Bryan and Bryan managed to win this match and got the chance to face Mark Henry and he faced him.
This match was a steel cage match in which Bryan went to the hall of pain and suffered the World's Strongest Slam and one more humiliating defeat and once again his dream broke into pieces.
